TOANO, Virginia — Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. (LL) on Wednesday reported profit of $15.7 million in its third quarter.

The Toano, Virginia-based company said it had profit of 58 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 67 cents per share.

The hardwoord floors retailer posted revenue of $266.1 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Analysts expected $273.2 million, according to Zacks.

For the current quarter ending in December, Lumber Liquidators said it expects revenue in the range of $275 million to $290 million. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $285.1 million.

The company expects full-year earnings to be $2.38 to $2.52 per share, with revenue ranging from $1.05 billion to $1.07 billion.

Lumber Liquidators shares have fallen 44 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 47 percent in the last 12 months.
