LINCOLN, Nebraska — Cole Harrington rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns and Brady Przymus ran and passed for scores as No. 3 Columbus Scotus won its first state football title since 1993 with a 32-27 victory over top-ranked Norfolk Catholic in the Class C1 final at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday.

The Shamrocks (12-1) drove 75 yards in 32 seconds late in the second quarter to regain the lead after Norfolk Catholic had gone up 14-13. Tanner Spenceri broke a 26-yard run, and a personal foul on Norfolk Catholic set up the Shamrocks on the Knights 34. Jake Bos ran 24 yards, and two plays later Spenceri scored from 6 yards for a 19-14 halftime lead.

Bos kicked field goals of 42 and 53 yards, and Harrington's 4-yard touchdown made it 32-20 in the middle of the fourth quarter.

Dylan Kautz had 21 carries for 113 yards for Norfolk Catholic (12-1), and Myles Vrbka was 12 of 18 for 218 yards and two TDs.
