Twenty-five-year-old Denise Hart was last seen leaving a friend's home on the evening of Jan. 25 in a borrowed car.

Police say the car was found burning the following morning at the Cornwall Bridge fishing access in Cornwall.

Hart was reported missing on Jan. 31.

Police said Friday that "there is a strong indication of foul play."

Anyone with information about the case or who was travelling in the area of Swamp Road in Cornwall between midnight and 2 a.m. on January 26 is asked to call Vermont State Police at 802-773-9101.
