CUT OFF, Louisiana — Lafourche Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a 46-year-old Cut Off woman accused of stealing more than $220,000 from her employer.

Sheriff Craig Webre tells The Courier ( Rhonda Anglin was booked Wednesday on a felony theft charge. Webre says Anglin posted a $25,000 bond and was released from jail the same day.

Webre says Anglin was also booked with felony theft Sept. 8 and posted a $10,000 bond the next morning. He says she had reportedly cashed several business checks totaling $19,200 since October 2014.

Webre said the business owners later discovered discrepancies dating back to February 2014, and detectives found out Anglin had written deposit slips for less money than was in the cash register. She is accused of pocketing $202,346 over 18 months.
