Man robs Newark, Delaware, convenience store at knifepoint; no one is injured

NEWARK, Delaware — Delaware State Police are looking for a man who robbed a Newark convenience store at knifepoint.

It happened about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wawa on Salem Village Square. Troopers say a masked man brandishing a knife entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

Police say the clerk gave the robber cash from the register. The robber fled.

There were no injuries.
