The Montana football team held onto its seventh-place ranking in both The Sports Network and the NCAA coaches' polls, while Montana State moved up in both polls.

Eastern Washington announced Sunday that quarterback Vernon Davis will miss three to six weeks with two broken bones in his feet. He was injured Saturday but passed for 354 yards and four touchdowns and ran for two more scores in a 56-53 win over Idaho State on Saturday.
