ROCK HILL, South Carolina — The York County coroner says three residents of Charlotte, North Carolina, died in a wreck on Interstate 77 in South Carolina.

Coroner Sabrina Gast says three cars were involved in the wreck, which occurred Friday night on I-77 northbound.

Killed were 38-year-old Tei Paw, 33-year-old Khai Hne and 33-year-old Khai Tio. Gast says all were in the same car, and all were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Associated Press left a message for the S.C. Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash.
