STARKVILLE, Mississippi — Starkville Schools Superintendent Lewis Holloway and Assistant Superintendents Toriano Holloway and Jody Woodrum have each received a 5 percent raise.
The Commercial Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/1hU3zUU) the raises were approved this past week by the school board.
Holloway's salary will increase from $175,000 to $183,750 annually while Woodrum's pay went from $130,000 to $136,500.
Toriano Holloway, who intermittently led Starkville High School after Principal Keith Fennell left the district this year, was given a $5,750 raise to $120,750 annually.
School Board President Lee Brand says board members evaluated the three administrators earlier this year. He says tending to the raises was delayed as consolidation talks continued during the legislative session in Jackson.
Brand says the board will address pay increases for other employees sometime in the future.
