WASHINGTON — Brook Lopez and Jarrett Jack each scored 26 points as the Brooklyn Nets broke a seven-game losing streak with a 102-80 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

Brooklyn took control in the third quarter, outscoring Washington 28-18 to take a 71-58 lead after three.

Lopez, who has been the subject of numerous trade rumors, scored 11 points in just over 2 ½ minutes in the third as the Nets took control of the game. He scored Brooklyn's first eight points of the fourth quarter, too, and had 25 of his 26 points in the second half. Jack had 19 of his 26 points in the final two quarters.

John Wall had 13 points and Kris Humphries, 12, for the Wizards.
