TRENTON, New Jersey — Gov. Chris Christie will bring his town hall events to the beach.
Christie is slated on Tuesday to visit Long Branch for the first of a series of summer town hall-style events along the Jersey shore.
Christie is expected to continue to tout the new state budget, which delayed payments to the state workers' pension fund, and press for new pension and benefits reforms.
He'll also take audience questions.
Christie has said he will unveil a new set of proposals later this summer that will likely include measures to rein in health care costs.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Long Branch Amphitheater.
