PHILADELPHIA — A SEPTA regional rail train struck and killed a man as it approached Philadelphia's 30th Street Station.

Police say the Trenton Line train hit the man around 9:40 p.m. Sunday near 31st and Market streets.

SEPTA says about 100 passengers were transferred to another train.

Police didn't release the victim's name. They're investigating.
