CONCORD, New Hampshire — A Concord, New Hampshire, man has been arrested on 15 counts of child pornography following an investigation that dates back to January 2013.
Police said the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had been contacted by a juvenile who said a man contacted him online offering to perform sex and soliciting nude photos.
Police tracked the information to Christopher Merchant. They learned Merchant had failed to register any of his online identifiers, such as email addresses, instant message screen names and social networking website screen names. They executed a search warrant at his home and recovered a large quantity of computers and other electronic media evidence.
Merchant was convicted on charges of registration of online identifiers Monday.
It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
