INDIANAPOLIS — Officials say about five people aboard an Indianapolis city bus were taken to hospitals with minor injuries after a pre-dawn crash with a pickup truck.
The crash happened about 5 a.m. Thursday at an intersection near the Indiana State Fairgrounds on the city's north side.
Indianapolis television stations report the driver and some passengers who were on the bus were hurt, but details weren't immediately available.
The collision caused the accordion-style bus to spin around so it faced the opposite direction. The bus also went off the side of the street, with its wheels becoming stuck in mud.
Some street lanes were closed until the bus could be towed away about two hours later.
