LOS ANGELES — Severe thunderstorm warnings and flash flood warnings were issued for parts of Los Angeles county as a fierce and fast-moving storm cluster passed through the area.
The National Weather Service sent out the flood warnings Wednesday night for central and eastern Los Angeles County including parts of the San Gabriel Valley.
Potentially dangerous hail and lightning hit northern LA County.
The warnings were allowed to expire a few hours later as the worst of the storm subsided.
In Lancaster, three cars collided amid a thunderstorm and seven people were injured. It wasn't immediately clear whether the storm was a factor in the crash.
