WASHINGTON — Metro is reporting delays in both directions on the red line because of a cracked rail.

Metro says the red line is running on a single track between the Van Ness and Dupont Circle stations. The cracked rail is at the Dupont Circle station.

Metro says some trains will bypass the Woodley Park and Cleveland Park stations to minimize delays.
