No children injured when car hit school bus at north Omaha intersection, police say

OMAHA, Nebraska — Authorities say no children have been injured in a collision between a school bus and a car in north Omaha.

Omaha television station WOWT reports ( ) that the accident occurred just after 7 a.m. Monday. Police say the bus driver pulled out from a stop sign in front of a car that had the right of way.

It's unclear how many students were on the bus, but police say none of them was hurt. Another bus was sent to the scene so the children could get to school.
