FARGO, North Dakota — Spots in the multiple races that are part of the Fargo Marathon weekend scheduled for next month are filling up quickly.
Executive director Mark Knutson tells WDAY-TV (http://bit.ly/1DeeRb7 ) that the half marathon and 10K race are almost full. About 16,000 runners have registered so far for the races taking place May 7-9.
The 11th annual Fargo Marathon will see course changes as race officials have chosen to have participants run a longer portion of the race through neighboring Moorhead, Minnesota.
Knutson says registrations tend to spike during the last few weeks before the marathon.
