BOULDER, Colorado — A majority of the Boulder County Canvass Board has voted not to certify the results of the Nov. 4 election.
Some board members are criticizing the signature verification process and claim the results are unreliable.
County Clerk and Recorder Hillary Hall says the dispute is purely political.
The Canvass Board is responsible for certifying the official record of votes and the results must be in Secretary of State Scott Gessler's office on Monday.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports (http://tinyurl.com/nwc8k34) Gessler has the final say on the matter and he has rejected similar challenges from previous elections.
