WILMINGTON, Delaware — State police say they've obtained surveillance footage of a man suspected of shooting a gas station clerk during a robbery.
Police say the man entered the Wilmington-area gas station on Friday afternoon, demanded money from the clerk and fired one shot. The male clerk was wounded in the abdomen. Police say the victim opened the cash register after he was shot. The gunman took some cash and fled in a vehicle.
The 47-year-old victim was admitted to a hospital. Police say his injuries were not life-threatening.
Police say the gunman was captured on surveillance cameras, but he has not been identified.
