TRENTON, New Jersey — Parts of New Jersey could get a soaking.

The National Weather Service says periods of moderate to heavy rainfall could cause localized flooding on roads in parts of the state on Monday. That likely will occur where leaves and other debris are blocking storm drains.

Freezing rain is falling in the higher elevations of Sussex County.

Elsewhere, temperatures are above freezing.
