    GREENSBORO, North Carolina — Mike Brown had 12 points, 13 rebounds and three steals, and four Western Carolina players reached double figures in a 78-73 victory over UNC Greensboro on Saturday night.

    James Sinclair scored 23 points to lead Western Carolina (11-12, 6-5 Southern League). Torrion Brummitt had 14 points and Rhett Harrelson chipped in 12.

    The Catamounts used a 14-5 run to take a 53-46 lead with 11:15 to play. Nicholas Paulos scored six straight points to pull UNC Greensboro within 53-52, but the Spartans could not push past.

    Paulos hit a 3 to pull the Spartans within 75-73 with 14 seconds left. Brown answered with a dunk and Kenneth Hall split a pair of free throws to ice it.

    Tevon Saddler scored 18 points, Paulos finished with 13 points and Kayel Locke added 12 for UNC Greensboro (6-17, 2-8).
