WATERBURY, Connecticut — Police say a Connecticut man was killed in a car crash on Interstate 84.

It happened shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday in Waterbury. Police say 60-year-old Richard Hyman was driving westbound on I-84 between exits 22 and 23 when he struck a concrete barrier several times.

The Oxford man was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where he later died.

Police are investigating.
