WEST LEBANON, New Hampshire — Drivers are being encouraged to seek alternate routes as work begins to replace a bridge between New Hampshire and Vermont.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says construction associated with the replacement of the Route 4 bridge over the Connecticut River will begin Monday and continue until mid-October. The bridge connects West Lebanon to Hartford, Vermont.
The work will be done at night to start, but after Aug. 8, work will continue during the day. Traffic will be alternating one-way at night and during work hours.
CPM Constructors of Freeport, Maine, is serving as the general contractor for the $10.7 million project.
