CONCORD, New Hampshire — Authorities are still searching for an inmate who went missing from a transitional work center in Concord last week.

Corrections Transitional Work Center spokesman Jeff Lyons says 27-year-old Stephen Roy of Dover, was last seen at around 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3.

Lyons says the unit, which is on the same property as the prison, was locked down and searched.

Roy was serving a three to 10 year prison sentence for robbery and was eligible for parole in January 2016.

He is described as having brown hair and blue eyes, with tattoos on his chest, neck and both arms.

New Hampshire police and the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau are investigating.
