FARGO, North Dakota — Officials are investigating an early morning fire at a manufacturing company in Fargo.

Fire Department Battalion Chief Lee Soeth tells KFGO radio that firefighters found a pile of rags on fire near a paint booth inside Branick Industries after responding to a call shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

The flames were quickly extinguished and little damage was reported, but smoke had to be ventilated from the building.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
