PHOENIX — Three suspects are in custody in connection with a shooting at a Phoenix apartment complex that left one man dead and another wounded.

Phoenix police announced Tuesday that 22-year-old Brian Streeter, 19-year-old David Contreras and 18-year-old Tevin Boston all are being held on suspicion of murder and armed robbery.

It's unclear if any of the men have lawyers yet.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at an apartment complex about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

They reported finding two men injured inside an apartment.

Police say both victims were transported to hospitals and one man was pronounced dead and the other sustained a serious injury that wasn't considered life-threatening.

The names of the two men haven't been released.

Police say robbery is believed to be the motive for the shootings.
