BOAZ, Alabama — An 88-year-old man has died in a house fire in Boaz.

Marshall County Coroner Marlon Killion said Millard Arrington died Saturday from smoke inhalation.

Fire Chief Jeff Beck told WHNT-TV (http://bit.ly/1yqFpZG ) that the blaze started just before 5 a.m. Four people lived in the home, and three were able to escape safely.

Investigators were still trying to determine what caused the fire, which was still smoldering Saturday afternoon.
