HELENA, Montana — A federal judge has found a 45-year-old Arizona man and a 35-year-old Massachusetts man guilty of running a child exploitation enterprise and conspiracy to advertise child pornography.
Prosecutors say Joshua Peterson of Prescott, Arizona, and Steven Grovo of Shirley, Massachusetts, promoted the sexual exploitation of children with an online bulletin board containing photographs and videos.
U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy of Missoula found the men guilty in a bench trial Wednesday. Sentencing has been set for Jan. 22.
Prosecutors say the site was created in 2009 and members exchanged files containing child pornography. It also was used to solicit more pornography to share and broadcast on the Internet.
The investigation included law enforcement from the U.S. Department of Justice, Montana, Helena, Polson and the Isle of Jersey near the United Kingdom.
