HUNTINGTON, West Virginia — Marshall will play seven home football games next season, highlighted by a matchup with Louisville.
The last time Marshall had seven home games was in 1996.
Marshall opens the season with a bye week, then has three straight home games, hosting Morgan State on Sept. 10, Akron on Sept. 17 and Louisville on Sept. 24. The game against the Cardinals is the second one in a series that saw Marshall win at Louisville 17-13 in 2011.
Marshall plays at Pittsburgh on Oct. 1, then opens Conference USA play at North Texas on Oct. 8.
Conference home games are against Florida Atlantic on Oct. 15, Charlotte on Oct. 22, Middle Tennessee on Nov. 12 and Western Kentucky on Nov. 26.
Other conference road games are Oct. 29 at Southern Miss, Nov. 5 at Old Dominion and Nov. 19 at Florida International.
