MOREHEAD, Kentucky — Greg Tucker scored 24 points, Erik Durham added 20 more and Jacksonville State held off Morehead State in the second half for a 78-74 win on Sunday.

Malcolm Drumwright contributed 13 points and Andre Statam had 11 for Jacksonville State (8-15, 4-4 Ohio Valley Conference), which hit 12 of 21 from long range and went 20 for 25 from the foul line.

Morehead State (10-9, 4-3) trailed by 13 at the break but opened the second half with a 12-2 run that included two buckets from DeJuan Marrero and cut the deficit to 43-40. The Eagles sliced it to 62-61 with 4:25 left on Anthony Elechi's 3-point play, but Jacksonville then got a pair of free throws and a layup from Tucker to ignite a 10-2 run and the Gamecocks sealed it at the line.
