LOS ANGELES — Josh Ritchart had 21 points on Saturday night, and UC Davis remained atop the Big West Conference with a 68-55 win over Cal State Northridge.

Ritchart finished 4 of 7 from 3-point range with his last triple putting the Aggies (18-4, 8-1) comfortably ahead at 64-55 with 45 seconds left. He had 16 points in the first half as the Aggies went into the break leading 36-30.

Tyler Les also made 4 of 7 3-point attempts for 14 points and Avery Johnson scored 10. UC Davis was 11 for 22 from long distance.

CS Northridge (6-19, 2-8) got as close as 41-38 early in the second half and stayed within contention when Tre Hale-Edmerson's layup pulled the Matadors within six with 1:43 to go.

Stephan Hicks led Northridge with 13 points. Hale-Edmerson and Devonte Elliott each scored 12, and Aaron Parks added 11.
