DENVER — A man accused of shooting two women to death in a Denver apartment has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The Denver District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday that 22-year-old Jose King has been charged in the Oct. 29 deaths of 19-year-old Amanda Anders and 22-year-old Nancy Worrell. He is being held without bail.
Investigators say King told them he shot the women during an argument. According to court documents, King said he could not remember why he was arguing with the women, who were his roommate and a friend.
King was arrested in Castle Rock.
