FREDERICK, Maryland — A Virginia man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a robbery of a jewelry store in Frederick, Maryland, in which $200,000 worth of Rolex watches were stolen.

Thirty-three-year-old Alonzo Meadows of Fairfax, Virginia, was sentenced Tuesday in a Frederick County Court. He entered an Alford plea to assault and armed robbery in November.

Prosecutors say Meadows and two other men robbed Colonial Jewelers at gunpoint in a daytime smash-and-grab on Feb. 5, 2013, making off with nearly $200,000 worth of Rolex watches. The other two men haven't been found.
