GRANBY, New York — Police have concluded that human error caused a crash that killed three people when a FedEx delivery truck collided with a car on a central New York road.

State Police Sgt. Jack Keller tells The Post-Standard (http://bit.ly/1ng9ZQo ) of Syracuse in a story posted online Friday that investigators ruled out drug and alcohol use, mechanical problems and drivers' medical problems as causes of the Sept. 29 wreck in Granby. It's 25 miles northwest of Syracuse.

Troopers say 41-year-old Kevin Frank of Liverpool was driving the truck when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit a car head-on. Frank and the driver of the car, 38-year-old Victoria Tully, died at the scene.

Her daughter, 20-year-old Elizabeth Tully, suffered severe head trauma. She died two weeks later.
