CAMDEN, New Jersey — A Burlington County man has pleaded guilty to robbing nine banks in southern New Jersey over a three-and-a-half month span.

Shalir Hall pleaded guilty in federal court in Camden on Friday.

The 21-year-old from Edgewater Park admitted committing the nine robberies between late September 2013 and early January 2014. The robberies were committed in Willingboro, Mount Laurel, Delran, Maple Shade, Bellmawr and East Windsor.

The U.S. attorney's office says Hall and another man alternated on seven of the robberies, with one acting as getaway driver and the other going into the banks. The nine robberies yielded a total of approximately $46,000.
