State police: Bryant man, 34, dies after car crashes into concrete barrier on Interstate 30

BRYANT, Arkansas — Authorities say a 34-year-old Bryant man was killed in a wreck on Interstate 30 in central Arkansas.

Arkansas State Police say the crash happened early Sunday on the interstate in Saline County. According to a preliminary report, Miguel Cruz was killed when the car he was riding in drove off the interstate, crashed into a concrete barrier and overturned.

The report says the car was speeding before the wreck. Cruz was pronounced dead at a Little Rock hospital.

Two others in the car were injured and taken to area hospitals. The accident report didn't indicate who was driving at the time of the wreck.
