NEW YORK — More than 200 firefighters battled a 5-alarm fire at an apartment building in the Bronx.

Fire officials say several people suffered minor injuries in the Monday afternoon blaze which began on the roof of the six-story building in Morris Park. It wasn't clear what started the fire.

The Red Cross says it has opened a relief center at nearby P.S. 109 for at least a dozen families displaced by the fire.
