INDIANAPOLIS — Police have explored a creek for clues in the disappearance of a 6-week-old Indianapolis boy hours after they finished searching his family's home.

The investigation surrounding Delano Wilson moved Tuesday to Little Eagle Creek, a couple miles from the home.

Officer Rafael Diaz says investigators are combing for clues that may locate the boy and the latest search site wasn't motivated by new information in the case.

Police say they can't disclose what they took from the family's home overnight Monday, but the boy's mother, Taniasha Perkins, told WTHR-TV that they removed a large portion of carpet.

Twenty-three-year-old Willie Wilson told police his son was abducted Aug. 27 by a man and woman who knocked him out in an alley near the home just west of downtown Indianapolis.
