ARCADIA, California — Lost Bus won the $58,000 Dixie Pearl feature by three-quarters of a length Friday off a six-month break at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, Lost Bus ran six furlongs in 1:10.67 and paid $7.40, $5.20 and $3.60. The 3-year-old filly had been idle since Aug. 27 to deal with a shin problem.

Easter Fever returned $11.20 and $5.80, while Alwaszabridesmaid was another 2 ¼ lengths back in third and paid $4.40 to show.

The victory, worth $34,800, increased Lost Bus's career earnings to $105,400, with two wins in four starts.

Jockey Martin Garcia was unseated after his mount Sheer Pleasure stumbled badly leaving the starting gate. Garcia wasn't hurt.
