ST. PAUL, Minnesota — The former boyfriend of a woman fatally stabbed in St. Paul is charged with her murder.
Forty-nine-year-old Kevin Scott Evans appeared in Ramsey County court Wednesday on a second-degree murder charge. Bail is set at $1 million, and Evans remains in jail.
Thirty-eight-year-old Miranda Schunk was found stabbed multiple times at an apartment building Sunday night. Court records show Evans has a history of violence and Schunk had gotten a protection order prohibiting him from contacting her.
