SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — A Bullhead, South Dakota man convicted of abusive sexual contact with a juvenile has been sentenced to three years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says 24-year-old Landon Iron Thunder was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty in March.

Authorities say the crime occurred in 2010 at Iron Thunder's home.

Landon also was convicted of menacing in Burleigh County, North Dakota in February. He was given a one-year suspended jail sentence and two years of probation.

Johnson says that sentence will run consecutive with Iron Thunder's prison time in in South Dakota.

Iron Thunder also was sentenced in federal court in South Dakota to five years of supervised release once his prison sentence ends.
