TERRE HAUTE, Indiana — Indiana State University President Dan Bradley has agreed to a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the school's helm until the summer of 2019.
The Terre Haute school's trustees and Bradley announced Friday that they had agreed to the terms of the contract extension.
Bradley came to Indiana State in 2008 and his current contract is set to expire in 2016. Trustees board President Randy Minas says Bradley's contract will be extended through June 30, 2019, pending upcoming action by the trustees.
Minas called Bradley "a remarkably effective leader" who has met the challenges of the job. He says that includes the hurdles posed by state financial support that's declined even as performance expectations have risen.
