ARCADIA, California — Fantastic Style cruised to a 3 1/4-length victory in the $75,000 Angels Flight Stakes for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Fantastic Style led all the way in running seven furlongs in 1:20.38 and paid $6.40, $2.60 and $2.10 as the 2-1 second choice.

"I knew we were the speed in the race and it looked like the track was pretty fast in the first race," Bejarano said. "We had a clean break and I decided to take advantage of it and take care of business. She likes to run this way and she gave me a big kick."

Fantastic Style is trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert and owned by Kaleem Shah. They were at Pimlico on Saturday to watch Dortmund finish fourth in the Preakness Stakes behind winner American Pharoah, also trained by Baffert.
