DETROIT — Authorities say children who were in a wooded are on Detroit's west side found suspected human remains.
TV stations WXYZ and WJBK report the discovery of bones was made Thursday near the Rouge River. Police and the medical examiner's office responded.
Police say the remains are believed to be of an adult.
The medical examiner's office is expected to work to identify the remains and determine how long they may have been in the area.
