BELINGTON, West Virginia — Emergency crews rescued a 15-year-old boy from a rock in the middle of the Middle Fork River in Barbour County.

Belington Fire Department chief Phil Hart tells media outlets that the teenager fell out of an inner tube into the river Sunday afternoon at Audra State Park. Two kayakers saw the boy and helped him get to the rock. Emergency crews rigged a rope and boat and pulled him to shore.

Hart says the boy wasn't injured.
