Fish and Game instructor to discuss the basics of deer hunting next week

CONCORD, New Hampshire — The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is giving a free talk on deer hunting basics.

Whitetail deer are New Hampshire's most sought-after game animal. Last year, hunters took 11,395 deer in the state.

The talk by hunter education instructor Dave Priebe is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at department headquarters in Concord.

Other talks coming up are "Hunting Dominant Bucks" on Oct. 14; and "150 Years of Fish and Game History," on Oct. 21.
