WALTERBORO, South Carolina — No serious injuries have been reported after a school bus carrying about 30 students flipped on its side in Colleton County.

Authorities tell local media outlets the accident happened shortly before 7:30 on Monday morning on a rural road southeast of Walterboro.

Officials say that the students were taken to a local hospital to be checked out. They said there were no serious injuries.

It's the second time in a week that a school bus has flipped in the Carolinas. Last Thursday, a bus flipped on its side near Jacksonville, North Carolina, sending six students to the hospital with minor injuries.
