PLACENTIA, California — A 24-year-old Orange County man who spent three days lost in the Cleveland National Forest has been rescued.

Riverside County sheriff's officials said Thursday that Elder Lopez Juarez was injured and severely dehydrated but is expected to make a full recovery.

Officials say the Placentia man was spotted by a helicopter crew Wednesday at the bottom of a ravine in a remote area. He was rushed to a hospital.

He had been last seen by family members on Sunday at a cabin near Corona.
