MINOT, North Dakota — Minot police are searching for two males who allegedly robbed a man and then fired shots at him when he fled.

Authorities say the 27-year-old victim was outside smoking late Friday when he was approached by the two males, held at gunpoint and robbed of his wallet and other belongings "in an attempt to settle a debt."

Police say the man ran from the scene, and the suspects fired four or five shots at him. He was not hit, but police say a neighbor who also was outside at the time was nearly struck by a bullet that hit her house.
