KOLEEN, Indiana — The body of a southern Indiana woman has been found inside her car inside a rain-swollen creek.

Indiana conservation officers say the body of 39-year-old Tania Holloman of Koleen was discovered Monday morning once flood waters receded and the top of the submerged vehicle became visible.

Officers say Holloman had called her father about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and told him she had accidentally driven into the flooded creek near Koleen, a rural community that's about 25 miles southwest of Bloomington.

Officers searched overnight for Holloman but halted that effort when it became hindered by high waters and fast currents. The search resumed Monday morning.
